Dear Millie,
What is a “hold”, anyway? I keep reading about them in blogs and stuff and I still don’t get it. What is a hold, why would anybody want our laws to be held, and why does the Senate want to embrace stuff anyway? And what is it that they’re holding on to so hard in the first place? Why can’t they just let go of whatever it is and maybe pass a law or something before it’s time for them to go home instead?
